I got out of the military in 2022 and I have a full G.I. bill I can use for school, but I have two kids now and both me and my husband being military and retired military, we want to pass a G.I. bills down to our children so they have a full ride. I have always wanted to be an astronomer/astrophysicist since I was a kid. I didn’t really know what to do with my passion for space until my 20s. Are you saying that I could literally self teach myself through all the classes I would take in college, without going to college and getting a degree in space studies/astronomy? Right now I’m catching up on math from grade school because I was not a big fan of it. I’m finding that now that I have a drive and a passion for an end goal, the math comes a little easier to me.
